Designed by Edward Brune-Jones and woven by Morris & Co., it is part of a series of 6 tapestries depicting the story of the holy grail.

The shields represent the coats of arms of Knights of the Round Table, including Lancelot and Galahad.

The original hangs in the Birmingham Museum.
