Medieval tapestry entitled 'The Vintage' (Les Vendanges). The original was woven in the 15th century in France.
It shows the grand process of wine making. A wealthy lady tastes a juice sample, grapes are pressed by foot and gathering of grapes can be seen in the top right.
All our tapestries are woven in Flanders, on Jacquard Looms using high quality materials, and are lined with cotton on the back, with a tunnel for easy hanging (see our Hanging Rods section). Click here for more information about the tapestries.
