The Gobelins is a tapestry factory in France, famous for providing tapestries to King Louis XIV and later monarchs. It is still produces tapestries today.

This tapestry is a fine example of pieces produced during the 17th century, and is part of a series of 4 tapestries of the "Portieres des Dieux".

All our tapestries are woven in Flanders, on Jacquard Looms using high quality materials, and are lined with cotton on the back, with a tunnel for easy hanging (see our Hanging Rods section). Click here for more information about the tapestries.
