The last and most famous tapestry in a series of seven famous tapestries depicting the story of the hunt, slaughter, and resurection of a unicorn. They were woven around 1500 and are now stored in the Metropolitan Museum, New York (apart from the 5th in the series, which is in a state of disrepair).

The unicorn is apparently chained to a tree, yet closer inspection shows the chain not to be attached. The fence surrounding him is also easily bounded over, yet the unicorn seems content to sit, surrounded by lucious fruits.

Also available as a feather-filled woven cushion.

All our tapestries are woven in Flanders, on Jacquard Looms using high quality materials, and are lined with cotton on the back, with a tunnel for easy hanging (see our Hanging Rods section). Click here for more information about the tapestries.
