Two dog handlers waiting for the chase.
In medieval Europe hunting was the reserve of the land owning classes. Game was used for food and fur, but more importantly for the sport. Pointer dogs were essential.
The original can be found hanging in the Louvre.
From the early 1500s.
All our tapestries are woven in Flanders, on Jacquard Looms using high quality materials, and are lined with cotton on the back, with a tunnel for easy hanging (see our Hanging Rods section). Click here for more information about the tapestries.
